These songs were recorded sporadically over the course of a year or so, during a time period where I was mainly skateboarding, experiencing some crazy aspects of living, and playing music for the sake and sanity of it. But recording is my nature, and I basically equate this album with the same exact state of mind as going and skating your local waxed-curb. You do it for fun, and you do it because it's who you are. Halfway through this recording, I had moved my studio into a larger room of my home. This album was completed and eventually purchased by FOX® for their FUEL TV® network. Right away music was being used for the show "First Hand™", followed by "The Standard Snowboard Show™", and "Snowboard Diaries™". A friend I went to college with, Hemans, was the producer who initiated this whole project between FLIPTRACY and FOX®. The usage-rights to these tracks are owned by FUEL TV® and the publishing rights are owned by myself through Patchy Fogg Publishing (ascap). These tracks are used indefinitely by FOX® for any and all of their media channels.
